Six days into the new year, and this is the first blog post since the clocked turned over to 2009. I do not know about you, but I have needed some down time to get my house in order, both literally as well as figuratively.

But I have been busy launching stuff in 2009.

My latest site is My Internet Tips - one of my infamous .Info sites that gives away all kinds of free advice (this one only has one post so far, more will come).

This is recently on the heals of launching My Blogging Tips, the Web 20.0 Tips, and Article Marketing Tips as follow-ons to the original Gmail Tips video training roster.

Don’t waste another min making the simple mistakes that sterilize the results of most beginning to intermediate marketers .

One of the first things we learned with Occupy the City is that each of our new members starts with a different amount of knowledge about online marketing or the internet in general. Regardless of knowledge level we also found that nearly everyone could benefit from education on some of the most basic principals of linking and anchor text. It seems simple but you might be surprised how many people even some that have been learning internet marketing for quite some time fail to recognize this critical element in their efforts.

Are you generating free highly qualified leads for your business?

Today, be an active force in your own life. Today, take each so-called problem and turn it into an opportunity to experiment, to try a new way of approaching something, to be creative in finding a solution for it. Today, be your own best guide and resource, following your own instincts, seeking knowledge from outside, yes, but never going against what feels right to you, inside, in your center of truth.

Today, trust yourself to know what is right for you, what is good for you. So many of the problems you have in life were put there through lack of trust in your instincts. So many of the mistakes were the same, simply doing what someone else told you to do or running against that internal truth by taking the safe path.
Amazing, is it not, that apparent safety is not always the safest thing to do at all. The safest thing you can do is follow that feeling inside, even when it tells you to do something you have previously feared doing. But now your core, your centers says it is  time to stand up and be counted, to step out and do something original and daring, to be braver than you have ever been before. This is the moment.

Do not hide from life in fear. Do not hide from life in day dreams and vain hoping. Engage. Risk. Try. Experiment. Dare. And in this process, you will find that life is not at all what you had thought. By actually acting on that vague dream you had, it will be come real and you might even change your mind about what you want, once you have tried a little of it. Dreams are wonderful guides when you are following them with action, but they merely waste your time if you do not dig deep for the courage and devote yourself to their fulfillment. Is that dream big enough for you? It cannot be too big, for you are strong and capable and can achieve anything you decide to achieve. You are able to do it all, for you are not only a tower of strength yourself, but you are deeply empowered, guided and helped at every turn. Simply do not quit and your success is assured.
